Legacy Adults

Greetings in the wonderful name of our Lord Jesus Christ!

My name is Charles Nelson and it is my honor to be the pastor to the Legacy Adults at the First Baptist Church of Central Florida. Here at First Baptist-Central Florida we believe when we receive the gift of salvation, our Savior intended for us to live an active, victorious life of joy.

We find in John 10:10 that Jesus said, "I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly." We also understand that we have been chosen and specifically gifted and given the challenge to prepare the world for our coming King. Billy Graham once said, "You may retire from your job, but you must never retire from your ministry for the Lord." In this day and age, we are living longer and have more opportunities to make an impact for the cause of Christ than in any generation before our time. The Legacy Adults of First Baptist-Central Florida are passionate about their personal Christian life and the "Kingdom" ministry.

We have chosen the name of Legacy Adults because we want to be found faithfully paving the way for those who come behind us. We desire to not only live this day to the fullest, but to leave a spiritual legacy for tomorrow.

May I personally invite you to join the Legacy Adults of the First Baptist Church of Central Florida. You will find joy in serving, satisfaction in accomplishments and peace of heart by leaving a legacy and inspiration in fellowship with other Christians.
